Sunscreen found to generate harmful compounds that promote skin cancer: "(NewsTarget) A team of researchers from the University of California has found that sunscreen can do more harm than good once it soaks into the skin, where it actually promotes the harmful compounds it is meant to protect against."

I have been hearing about how some of the ingredients in sunscreen are toxic to you, but this is the first actual research I have seen on the subject.

At the end of the article, it talks about more effective, natural methods of sunscreen. The article is not very long. I encourage you to read it.

  2. I've had my suspicions about suntan lotion. I have suspicions about alot of things really. Ha. But this is one of them. I think that sun in moderation is good for you. Take a hint from those who live in southern countries - retreat in the heat of the day for a little r&r. Good for the soul and good for your skin. Thanks for the reminder!
