Yesterday, Jason bought a trailer.
The mobile-home kind, not the kind that helps you move things behind your vehicle.
This means three things:
- We will be moving again by fall.
- We will be living on our property by fall.
- We will be living in a trailer.
However, the only point that I'm really excited about is number two. Because, seriously? I've really moved enough in one year already. Really.

I have never even been inside a trailer so it all sounds very cool to me :)
ReplyDeleteHmmm... well, sadly, it's associated a bit with the "white-trash" image. However, the main thing is that it is a form of housing that does not cost a lot less when it is new, but depreciates just as badly as a vehicle--you never make money on the resale of a trailer. (Unless you live in Yellowknife, but that's a rare situation. Almost no one builds houses there, because the city is built on solid granite!) Anyway, it's really not that bad, and we will be cozy as bugs there for the next few years, I'm sure!
